100 Day Dress Challenge!

Tada!

Today, I’m starting the 100 day dress challenge from the Wool& company. If you’re not familiar, these dresses are high quality Marino wool, and they’re meant to be worn with very minimum washing and maintenance. The challenge is to wear the dress everyday for 100 days—washing occasionally, don’t freak out—and take pictures of all the outfits you come up with for the same dress. I’m excited! This feels like a challenge in creativity for me and a step into more sustainable fashion, especially since all the accessories I’ll be wearing are thrifted.

Originally, I bought this dress for an office job. The job fell through, so now we’re going to see how the dress manages for an author, a mum, and a homesteader!

Believe it or not, I have high hopes for this thing. It’s gonna last.

I can feel it.

I won’t bore you with all the outfits that come up in the next hundred days, but you’ll get a few of them. I’m also hoping this challenge helps me adjust to a postpartum body that I still am not comfortable in. Here’s to day one!

And yes. I’ve gotta plug the book. Spire and Stone comes out in ten days! I can’t wait!
