I have finally resigned myself to the reality that we are going to be spending another winter in the tiny house.

I was in denial for a little while. A few weeks.

Months.

Basically this entire year. But I’ve accepted it now, and we are facing the ever-present problem of how to heat our little shoebox head on.

And with only minimal complaining, too, which I am quite proud of. That ax is heavier than it looks.

This year, I am utterly determined to enjoy winter—which is very out of character for me—and I am working on strategies to convince my exhausted brain that we like snow and wind and icy cold weather.

Thus far it has not worked, but we’re gonna get there!

Also, in case you haven’t noticed my incessant posting lately, my new book, Spire and Stone, comes out in just SIX DAYS!! We are ready!
