I have waited six—no, close to seven—years for the release of this novel . . . and it was worth it, one hundred percent! The characters are empathetic, the settings epic, and the prose stunning, and they will draw you in like a fierce and thrilling undertow from the first page. Abigail’s powerful narrative is both heart-warming and heart-breaking; you will find yourself turning to each new chapter with baited breath, rooting for, crying with, and fighting alongside these characters as they forge unbreakable alliances and stare Death itself in the face.
