Crammed in the Corners

Behold, the life of a writer.

Especially the life of a writer with a full time job.

Yep, this is what my entire lunch break looks like. Except hopefully with more words on the screen as time goes by.

I get an hour for lunch these days, and since I’ve made it a hard and fast rule that I don’t write on the weekends or in the evenings – not that I would have the energy, honestly – this blog, my books, and any future work that I do for Abbie & Abby will be crammed into this single hour of my day.

It’s amazing, actually, what you can do with an hour a day.

Currently I am using that time to update y’all and to edit Timber and Tomb, which I got back from my editor last week.

Are you ready to be shocked? This was one of the few times in my life where she had to tell me to up my word count.

Are you shocked? I was shocked.

Anyway, Timber and Tomb is coming! I’m writing it slowly, cramming words into the corners of my life, but it IS coming! And it’s so, so good, y’all. I can’t wait to share this book with you. Unfortunately, the huge push on marketing it that I was hoping to do isn’t going to happen right now – sleep is barely happening in my life, let alone marketing – but I’m hoping to do a massive push once the series is released and the box set and audiobooks become available.

Yep. I said it. Box set and audiobooks.

They’re gonna happen, y’all.

Just slowly.
