Yeah, life did not cooperate. I think my whole entire sanity was holding itself together with spit and pine sap so that we could get settled in, and then as soon as we were really and truly IN our house, it just…

Fell apart.

I’ve been sleeping a lot.

Taking naps. Cross stitching. Reading a few books. Keeping up at work and nowhere else.

But look! My books found a home!

Now that we are really and truly beginning to settle, I’m hoping to emerge from my cocoon and be reminded that I had other ambitions besides napping as many times a week as humanly possible.

Hopefully, I’ll be present on this blog again. And maybe update my website, which is woefully behind. And finish that book that (gasp!) is coming out in OCTOBER.

Spoiler alert, it’s gonna be fabulous.

Until then, hopefully I’ll have new pictures of our gorgeous home for you in the next few weeks! My heart is utterly and completely happy, y’all. Three years of effort and tears was well worth it.
