We’re making progress!
Arrow and Ash is still coming, y’all. Pregnancy knocked me off the ball pretty hard – since, you know, it’s pretty hard to write when every spare minute is spent napping. But I managed to sneak in a few evenings of work here and there during postpartum, and the book is with my editor!
I’m so relieved. Fitting a publishing schedule into a full time job, life with a newborn and a toddler, and postpartum hasn’t been easy, but thankfully I know a little more about what I’m doing these days. There’s no need to figure out each new task as it comes. I’ve worked with my editor for multiple years, which means I know what to expect.
Which means I can go through the manuscript with a fine-tooth comb a few times and get rid of the 158 times I said ‘eyes’ when I really, really didn’t need to.
Everyone has their habit expressions. Thankfully, she knows mine.
My cover designers – Deranged Doctor Design – are also wonderfully easy to work with, and I’m so excited to have something to share with you so, so soon. Their work is so beautiful!
We’re plugging along, finishing one task after the other, and I can’t wait to have it all come together and be able to share this book with you. Keep an eye out for updates, cause they’re coming! In the meantime, check out my OTHER BOOKS and enjoy your fall!
